From Inspiration Photos to a Custom Kitchen

For this new custom home in Lower Springbank, the homeowners came to Calgary Kitchen Restyling with pictures of kitchens and details they liked.
From there, we worked through the layout and designed the cabinetry around the look they wanted, while always keeping style, function and budget in mind.
The finished kitchen combines clean white flat-panel cabinetry with rift-cut white oak accents, adding warmth while keeping the overall design modern and simple.

What We Built
The large island became one of the main features of the kitchen. Calgary Kitchen Restyling built the custom island and structure designed to accommodate the floating mitered quartz countertop.
We also built the custom hood surround and incorporated metal and glass display shelving with LED lighting integrated into the shelves.

The Result
This project started with inspiration pictures rather than a finished cabinet plan.
Our job was to take those ideas and turn them into cabinetry that worked with the home, gave the homeowners the look they wanted and stayed mindful of the budget.
The white cabinetry keeps the kitchen clean and modern, while the rift-cut white oak, custom hood, illuminated shelving and large island give the space warmth and some unique details.

Typical Investment
A custom kitchen and ensuite cabinetry package with a similar scope would typically be in the $40,000–$45,000 range.
This range is for the cabinetry and installation. Countertops, appliances and other construction or finishing work are separate and will vary depending on the project.
