Cabinetry Throughout the Home

This Heritage Pointe project was completed for one of our renovator clients. They came to Calgary Kitchen Restyling with the design and details already established, and our job was to build and install the cabinetry throughout the home.
The kitchen is the centrepiece of the project, combining clean shaker-style cabinetry with custom-stained rift-cut white oak accents.
For the solid-colour cabinetry, we used a 3DL shaker door. With everyday family life and wear and tear in mind, it was a practical choice that provided the look the homeowners wanted while also being durable and easy to maintain.
The rift-cut white oak was finished in a custom stain and used throughout the kitchen to add warmth and contrast.

The Result
Although the kitchen is the main feature, this was much more than a kitchen project.
Calgary Kitchen Restyling built cabinetry throughout the home, allowing the materials and details to carry from one space to the next while still giving each room the storage and function it needed.
The mix of durable 3DL shaker doors and custom-stained rift-cut white oak worked particularly well for this family. It gave them a clean, warm look without choosing materials based on appearance alone.
This project is also a good example of how we work with renovators and designers. When the design and specifications are already established, we can take those plans and turn them into finished cabinetry throughout the home.

Typical Investment
A whole-home cabinetry and installation package with a similar scope would typically range from $95,000–$100,000 today.
That range is for cabinetry and installation similar to this project. Countertops, appliances and other renovation or construction work are separate.
